💷 Rate: £32.00 per hour

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Site Electrician to join a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a major energy infrastructure scheme, supporting the installation and commissioning of electrical systems within a fast-growing sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation works in accordance with project specifications and industry standards
• Install containment, cabling, switchgear, and associated electrical equipment
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation
• Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with site procedures
• Support testing and commissioning activities where required
• Work closely with site management and project teams to maintain programme delivery
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and workmanship

Requirements

• Relevant electrical trade qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, ECS/JIB Card or equivalent)
• Previous experience working as a Site Electrician on construction or infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of electrical installation practices and health & safety requirements
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Desirable

• Previous experience working on BESS, renewable energy, substations, or similar energy infrastructure projects
• Testing and inspection qualifications
