Clover Talent are partnered with a growing commercial finance business looking to appoint an experienced Sales Manager to lead and develop their sales team.
This is a hands-on leadership role for somebody who knows how to motivate a team, improve performance and drive results in a fast-paced sales environment.
Commercial finance experience is beneficial, but not essential, strong sales leaders from other sectors will also be considered.
The Role:
You’ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day performance of the sales team, improving processes and helping drive revenue growth as the business continues to scale.
Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll play a key role in developing team performance, reporting on KPIs and building a high-performing sales culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage and motivate the sales team
- Run daily sales meetings and pipeline reviews
- Monitor KPIs, activity and conversion performance
- Coach and develop team members
- Improve sales processes and CRM discipline
- Produce regular sales reports
- Support with complex or high-value deals
- Recruit and onboard new team members as the business grows
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in sales management or team leadership
- Strong understanding of KPIs, reporting and sales performance
- Experience managing pipelines and improving conversions
- Excellent communication and coaching skills
- Commercially driven and highly organised
- Commercial finance, lending or asset finance experience
- CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho or similar)
- Experience growing or scaling sales teams
