E3 Recruitment is looking to recruit a FLT Driver for an immediate start to join a well-established leading manufacturing business at its facility in the Birtley area of Chester-le-Street.
The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience of operating a Fork Lift Truck with B1 Licence, working in a fast-paced, heavy industry manufacturing environment.
What's in it for you as an FLT Driver:
- Hours of work: Monday - Friday DAYS ONLY 8AM - 4PM (early finish Friday at 3PM)
- 39 hours a week
- £12.71 per hour
- Overtime paid at a premium of 1.5x and 2x
- Location: Birtley
- Full training given
- On-going temp opportunity for 2-4 weeks which could become longer, with a well-established PLC manufacturer.
FLT responsibilities:
- Operation of FLT
- Support with the running of a production facility
- General maintenance and housekeeping tasks around the site
- Complying with all Company Health, Safety & Environmental systems, and reporting procedures.
Essential Qualifications and Experience for FLT Driver:
- Experience of operating a Fork Lift Truck with B1 Licence
- A good understanding of industry Health, Safety and Environmental standards
- Ability to work within a busy team environment
